A reminder of God's covenant with Abraham and with us.
TWO PENNIES NEED TO DROP IN OUR UNDERSTANDING OF GOD
(1) When God came to Abraham, people believed in thousands of gods. Then God came to him personally and said "I want to be your God". The God who created everything turns to us personally and says "I want to be your God"
(2) We need to understand that the promises of God are new and fresh every single day. All that He has promised His people over the ages, and promised me, need to be viewed afresh each day. Nothing changes the covenant.
